Extras

C8™ goes a long way to making sure that once your website has launched you shouldn't need to incur additional cost to do simple things. With that in mind, we've included these often overlooked extras as part of our standard features.

File Downloads

Using C8™ you can upload files in any format including PDF, Flash, Word, Excel, video and sound. These files can then be downloaded by visitors to your website for use on their own computers. This is great if you want to make product specifications, brochures or other content available for download and later viewing.

You can embed content from other websites in your website too - such as video content from YouTube. This results in that content playing directly in the website page you decide to put it on.

Add To Favourites

Sounds simple, but believe it or not, many websites forget about this very important way of ensuring visitors return in the future. You'll have complete control over your website so you'll be able to select which page of your website will contain a link to allow visitors to add that page to their list of favourites.

Print This Page

Sometimes computer screens just aren't the best place to read pages and pages of text (text on the web should be short and succint in any case). Where you need to present lot's of text, sometimes visitors will want to print this off to read 'offline'. You'll have complete control over which pages feature a 'Print this Page' link.

Better yet, in these environmentally friendly times, our standard print pages exclude heavy use of website navigation and instead print a printer friendly version of the page being printed - this also saves ink and paper.

Tell a Friend

Word of mouth is one of the most cost-effective ways of marketing your product and services. We equip all our websites with a 'Tell a Friend' feature - allowing you to control which pages can be forwarded on to other people by visitors to your website.
