We provide digital services to our clients including award winning website design, development & management, email marketing, search engine optimisation, ecommerce integration and content management.

If you’ve got an instinct for design, can think beyond a brief and have the technical know-how to back it up! We are looking for a Creative Web Designer to join our expanding web.

Key Responsibilities

Using your extensive design and web experience you will be working alongside the development team to deliver innovative and professional web pages. This is a varied and challenging role where you will be fully involved in the design process from pitch through to final production so you will already possess strong client liaison skills and ‘end to end’ experience.

• Take projects from the initial design stage, through to coding and live website completion.
• Design, build and testing of client web sites as well as on-going maintenance and upgrades of clients once launched.
• QA testing of websites across all browsers.
• Development & maintenance of existing portfolio of web sites

Design/Technical Skills

We will want you to demonstrate a strong portfolio of previous web design projects showing visual concept through to build, development and deployment.

• Good understanding of SEO techniques, understanding of usability and accessibility issues
• Familiar with latest online design best practice including layout, typography and usability.
• Expertise in e-commerce web sites e.g. shopping carts/basket values.
• Knowledge of industry standard software: Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, Freehand, Fireworks, Flash
• Experience of latest web standards and best practises for web and email design and able to validate these to W3C standards.
• HTML including XHTML & CSS, HTML email design

Bonus Skills

Awareness, understanding or experience in:

• Flash & Action Script, .flv video
• JavaScript, AJAX, MooTools
