Accounts & Finance
Our Finance Department is headed up by Sue Laverick. Responsible for the day-to-day financial operations of Chapter Eight, this department is key to making sure our business runs smoothly. A range of roles exist here dealing with everything from Credit Control, Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger and Ecommerce through to forecasting, management accounts and client side financial reporting.
Client Services
Our Client Services Department is responsible for communication with all of our clients. From the outset at the first meeting with a client through to the ongoing management of client accounts.
Marketing
Our Marketing Department is responsible for delivering a wide range of eMarketing services to our clients. Everything from saturation services such as Pay-Per-Click advertising, through to more cutting edge services such as Social Media monitoring, research and data-driven email campaigns.
Business Development
Our Business Development team work with clients in finding ways to help their businesses onto the Web. Our sales approach is consultative, so you'll need to show that you can listen and understand the business challenges our clients face and be able to offer solutions that deliver.
Software Engineering
We have a dedicated in-house Software Engineering team based here at Chapter Eight. Our team undertake all software development on the C8™ software platform and usually do this using PHP5 on the Apache web server and using the PostgreSQL database server.
Our team also write applications for Facebook, the iPhone and full-blown Flash applications written in ActionScript.
Creative & Design
We employ some of the best creative digital designers in the industry. You'll need to have an eye for detail and undertstand web layouts and design.
If you're making the switch from print to screen then we can develop your online skills. Our studio team use all the latest toys to create some of the best looking websites on the net.
Systems Administration
Our Systems Administration team get some of the coolest gadgets to work with - everything from high availability load balancers, cloud storage systems, gigabit multi-point network connections and of course their choice of servers, racks and anything else you need to run a very busy data centre.
