Recent History

Founded in 2002, we now work with clients ranging from Gulf Oil International and Close Brothers to Gatecrasher and Sock Shop. We also work for a wide range of Public Sector clients including Charities Trust and The Independent Living Funds.

We process thousands of ecommerce transactions per week and serve millions of page impressions to users around the world.

Headquartered in Leeds with offices in London, we provide a truly national service to our growing list of clients. 

Older History

Prior to 2002 we were responsible for managing the website operations for Regional Independent Media - one of the largest publishers in the UK at the time. Through our 34 portal websites including YorkshirePost.co.uk we published over 1 million articles per year and served over a 100 million pages per year to local and ex-pat customers around the world.

By the time we started Chapter Eight in 2002, we managed the website operations for some 1,500 businesses across Yorkshire and Lancashire.

Our publishing experience has meant that we now work for two out of the top three publishing companies in the UK and manage a wide range of website services on their behalf.
